LAST CALL.Then another came on.
The two trolls first appeared together in the last photo from a street-level booth. The white grin said the flash was a sign to leave immediately. The black grin wanted to wait for one more picture.
They rolled past a quiet ticket hall and into an all-night diner. A green light, a turnstile, a cup of coffee — each looked urgent for a second. By dawn they had missed nothing except sleep.
